This season the L.A.M.B. show was once again held at Lincoln Center. Gwen did a phenomenal job designing her collection, dividing the show into 6 vignettes: the 1st was the “aviation solider girls” with powerful images of helicopters flying around on the jumbo screen behind them as they walked down the runway. The 2nd vignette were the “Rasta girls” wearing bold Jamaican colors and crochet beanies. The 3rd vignette were the “London girls” wearing plaid prints and tailored suits. The 4th vignette were the “Harajuku buffalo girls” wearing tan leather pantsuits and navy trousers. The 5th vignette were the “60′s mod girls” wearing black & white dresses and polka dot prints. Lastly for the 6th and final vignette were the “glamour girls”, who were basically clones of Gwen wearing all black with gold accessories, courtesy of Noir Jewelry.

The L.A.M.B. show was definitely one of our favorite shows this season. As far as the collection, Gwen was definitely inspired by lots of bold colors and African prints. Its always inspiring to see when a designer puts so much of their own personal style into their collection, and in Gwen’s case right down to the hair, makeup, & accessories. And one would expect nothing less than an amazing soundtrack for Gwen’s show, with tunes by Bob Marley, MGMT, and of course No Doubt. Also have to give props to the stylist Paula Bradley who did an amazing job working with Gwen on every level. Well done ladies!!!

Mr. Brainwash / L.A.M.B. After Party
2010
The L.A.M.B. after party was held at Mr. Brainwash’s art gallery. His gallery which is located in the Meat Packing District was the perfect place to host the party. Members of the art community mingled with members of the fashion industry. It was a really cool vibe. Seen mingling in the crowd were Kanye West, our good friend Jeremy Scott, various members of No Doubt, and of course Gwen’s hot hubby Gavin Rossdale. More important than the crowd though, was the venue. We have been huge fans of Mr. Brainwash for sometime now. It was so surreal to be upclose with such iconic pieces of pop art. It was almost like being inside the modern day Warhol factory. We couldn’t help ourselves but take pictures in front of all our favorite paintings and portraits. Check out our photos in the gallery below.
