We got the call to style a shoot for Zink Magazine with actress Ashley Hinshaw. As long time fans of the mag, we couldn’t have been more ecstatic. The shoot took place at a gorgeous house overlooking the Hollywood Lake Reservoir. A great shoot with a great team! Another one for the books!

Pussycat Dolls & Danica Patrick – Go Daddy Superbowl Commercial

We wanted to share/blog about a really cool job we did back in February. For some reason we just never got around to posting it, so here it goes:
We were so EXCITED when we first got the call about styling the Pussycat Dolls & Danica Patrick for the Go Daddy Superbowl commercial. This marks our first time styling a Superbowl commercial (viewed by over a billion people, no pressure). And lets be honest, the Superbowl is really all about the commercials.
The concept was the Pussycat Dolls & Danica as angels in heaven. It was a long & tedious process designing one of a kind costumes for all the girls. First we had to sketch the costumes, then gather fabric swatches, and then finally we had multiple fittings perfecting every last detail before the big shoot day. We even had multiple fittings regarding the angel wings, mainly in choosing the exact feathers with the right amount of movement. The commercial was directed by Steven Antin (who also directed the movie “Burlesque”), so paying close attention to details were extremely important to him. We custom designed all the accessories right down to the shoes. This was by far one of our most challenging jobs we’ve ever done, but well worth all the hard work. Definitely marking a milestone in our careers! Check out some of stills from the shoot below.

We found this cross necklace in Kim’s closet and pretty much built an outfit around it. She has the most amazing jewelry and accessories! Its hard to not get inspired by her amazing pieces. What we love about working with Kim is that she encourages us to use pieces from her own closet unlike many clients who are always wanting us to bring them new items. With a wardrobe collection like Kim’s, we don’t blame her. Her closet is just as good if not better than most retail stores and high end boutiques!

It was so much fun shooting for Factice Magazine with Mike Ruiz and the whole gang. This time the concept of the shoot was 70′s Glam. We were inspired by everything from 70′s boho chic, to Studio 54, to Bianca Jagger. We also incorporated our love of menswear in womens fashion, which was a huge trend in the 70′s. Scott & Frank KILLED the make-up per usual. This is definitely one of our favorite shoots we’ve ever styled!
